The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what they find, including performance ratings, to help people choose care.

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals will be inspected in early December when up to 50 inspectors will visit our hospitals. We welcome the inspection as an opportunity to demonstrate some of the excellent work we are doing, as well as to learn more about areas where we need to improve.

 

The CQC will also be holding a public listening event which you are very welcome to attend to put forward your views on the Trust. This will be run by the CQC and not by the Trust. It will take place as follows:
