We recently received the results of our 2014/15 National Inpatient Survey, which asked adult patients who spent at least one night in our hospitals last summer about every aspect of the care and treatment they received.
The results are really impressive, showing that we have moved to a national position of 77th out of 154 trusts this year - an improvement of 66 places compared to last year - making us the second most improved Trust nationally.
Compared to our results last year we have improved on 45 out of 60 questions, which is a level of unprecedented improvement, and we have made significant progress around communication from doctors, confidence and trust in nursing care, quality of food and patients feeling they are being treated with dignity and respect.
