Our hospital radio station, Radio Wey, celebrated its 50th Anniversary of broadcasting. They broadcasted live from St Peter’s main reception, volunteers working for the radio station interacted with patients and staff, interviewing, chatting and getting them involved in the anniversary celebrations.

The radio station has come a long way from its humble beginnings of two friends playing tapes to patients in Weybridge Hospital using a portable tape machine. Purely charity based, Radio Wey has 60 volunteers working for them, all through the love of the job.
