The Surrey Surgical Centre is located within Ashford Hospital. The centre provides increased capacity for elective orthopaedic procedures including hip and knee replacement surgery.
The service is a collaboration between Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust with Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board and has been developed to provide additional surgical resources to benefit the people of Surrey.
Patients awaiting orthopaedic surgery on waiting lists at hospital trusts within Surrey Heartlands can ask to have their surgery at The Surrey Surgical Centre.
The procedures available at The Surrey Surgical Centre include hip and knee replacement alongside foot, ankle, hand, wrist, and shoulder surgery. This service is an additional facility, with applicable patients to be offered their preference of receiving care and treatment at their nearest hospital or the specialised service at the Surrey Surgical Centre.
