Over the next four years Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals will undertake an exciting £100 million transformation programme.
This will begin with a major project to change and improve car parking at St Peter's Hospital. The main outpatients visitor car park is closed and a new multi-deck car is being built. If you drive to site you will need to park in a different location to usual.
Parking at St Peter’s Hospital
Barriered car parking (pay on exit) for patients and visitors is located at:
- Hazel Car Park
- Abbey Wing (top floor only)
- Woodland Car Park, operated by Runnymede Borough Council
Pay and Display car parking for patients and visitors:
- Outpatients - Floors 2 and 2.5 only
- Maple Wing at rear of hospital
- Side of Abbey Wing
- Front of Stephanie Marks centre

Blue Badge parking within our barriered car parking at St Peter's is free. We have disabled spaces located at the side of Abbey Wing, opposite A&E, adjacent to the Stephanie Marks Centre and in our pay and display car park at the rear of the hospital close to our wards in the Duchess of Kent Wing.

An update on parking at St Peter’s Hospital
Levels 2 and 2.5 of our new multi deck car park are open for patients and visitors.
The new car park provides additional parking spaces and direct access to the main reception of the hospital via stairs or lift. There is dedicated Blue Badge parking on level 2, adjacent to the front of the hospital and main reception
All patient car parks are now ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) so there is no need for a ticket to enter or exit. Upon entering the car parks a camera captures your registration number. When you are ready to leave, please enter your reg into any of the payment terminals and pay the fee due.
If you are a blue badge holder please follow the instructions on the terminal in order to obtain your parking free of charge.
Please note that patient / visitor parking continues to be available in the upper level of the ramp car park.
For further information, please see the map below.

All our disabled spaces are located close to the main hospital entrances and signs clearly direct the way for people with a disability. There is access on both sites for wheelchair users.
At St Peter’s there are automatic opening doors on Levels 1 and 2 of the Outpatient Department, at the entrance to the Duchess of Kent Wing and the entrance to Abbey Wing.
At Ashford there are ramps at both the Main Entrance and the Outpatient Department entrances.
Both sites have easy access to lifts.
