Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) is pleased to announce that following a thorough and competitive recruitment process, Ellen Bull, ASPH’s Deputy Chief Nurse, has been appointed as Interim Chief Nurse, taking over from Andrea Lewis who has left ASPH to join the NHS South East regional team on a 12-month secondment.
Ellen has a Diploma in Professional Studies of Nursing and graduated with a BSc in Cancer Nursing and an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. Prior to working at ASPH Ellen held leadership roles in Kingston, Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and what is now known as University Hospitals Dorset. Ellen’s clinical background includes Surgery, Gynaecology, Gynaecological Oncology and Palliative Care and she has held many clinical roles including Ward Manager
Ellen has been successfully working in the Trust for over three years and was appointed as Deputy Chief Nurse in January 2021.
Last month Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) welcomed a team of dedicated volunteers from Samsung Electronics Ltd, who lent their expertise and green fingers to enhance our outdoor spaces at St Peter’s Hospital. A team of over 100 volunteers from Samsung came to spruce up some of our outdoor areas over a course of two weeks.
