On Saturday 15 July from 10am-3pm we are opening our doors across St Peter's Hospital and inviting members of the community to come and experience the hospital as never before, giving you a chance to look around and get involved with some of the different services we offer.
The Open Day is for everyone in the community - patients, families, carers, schools, local businesses, stakeholders and partners - for a celebratory, fun, engaging and interactive day to help local people feel part of the Trust. There’ll be a great range of activities throughout the day for all ages, including interactive stands and demonstrations, theatre tours and health and wellbeing advice. Front-line clinical colleagues will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise. Find out what it would be like to have a career in the NHS. There will be food, drink, games, and some entertainment for children.
Chief Executive Julie Smith said: ‘I am delighted to throw open the doors at St Peter’s, to warmly invite local people to see behind the scenes and meet some of our enthusiastic colleagues who are passionate about showcasing their services.”
Our Community Day on the 15th of July will be at the St Peter’s Hospital site only, but we will be holding another Community Open Day in the Autumn at Ashford Hospital.
Car parking and onsite catering facilities will be available on the day.
