Ashford & St. Peter’s Arts and Design Manager, Cat Cooke, is cycling 10km in the Twilight Runaway Challenge with her family to raise funds for and awareness of our Trust Healing Arts Programme.
In Cat words: “I'm cycling with my kids and husband for Ashford and St Peter's Charity. The money will go towards the delivery of the Healing Arts programmes making sure our gardens remain beautiful spaces for patients, visitors and staff, bringing music to the wards and making positives changes across the hospitals to improve the spaces for everyone.
My kids are going to cycle rings around me as I don't often get on a bike, so your support really helps! “
The Healing Arts Programme is a national initiative, partly funded by our Charity, to provide different forms of art that improve both staff and patient environments. There is reported evidence of the positive impact creative and cultural activities can have on health and wellbeing.
