July 2023 marks the NHS 75th Birthday and we have another fantastic team who joined us on our celebrations!
Dr Claire Mitchell and Dr Clare Hill are both paediatric consultants and joined forces and enthusiasm to grab their bicycles and fundraise for our Children’s Unit.
This is a cause close to both Clare and Claire’s hearts and they are cycling 75 miles each during this month to raise funds for this meaningful campaign.
On Dr Claire Mitchell words: “Clare and I are both Paediatric Consultants at ASPH. We both like to cycle when the weather is nice but don't usually cover many miles. We decided to support the NHS and our department by cycling 75 miles each to raise money. We work within a lovely team at ASPH but it does need more funding so that we can support each other and our patients better.”
Money raised with this campaign will be used to improve Children’s Unit, improving both young patients and staff conditions and wellbeing.
