Following planned improvement and maintenance works, Joan Booker Ward will be moving back to the second floor of the Abbey Wing from Wednesday 19th July 2023.
This means that as of Wednesday 19th July, women who are admitted on the day will be given postnatal and antenatal care on Joan Booker Ward and all current inpatients requiring ongoing care will be transferred from Swan Ward to Joan Booker throughout the day when it is appropriate to do so. The phone numbers for Joan Booker ward remain the same.
Those who need to present for induction of labour are advised to phone the number given to them by their community midwife for information on where to go. Those coming in for their Elective (planned) Caesarean Section have been contacted and are advised to come to Joan Booker Ward.
