Car Parking Charges
On Friday 1st July 2022, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be increasing car parking charges for patients and visitors. We will continue to offer 20 minutes free of charge for visitors who are picking up or dropping off family, friends or loved ones, and parking will remain free for blue badge holders. Please ask about our parking concessions when you book your appointment.
From 1 July, the new parking charges for visitors will be as follows:
|Duration||Charges to 30th June 2022||Charges from 1st July 2022|
|Up to 20 minutes Drop Off||Free||Free|
|Up to 2 Hours||£3.50||£4.00|
|2 - 3 Hours||£4.00||£5.00|
|3 - 4 hours||£5.00||£6.00|
|4 - 5 Hours||£6.00||£7.00|
|5 - 6 Hours||£7.00||£8.00|
|Day Rate (6 - 24 hours)||£8.00||£9.00|
New Electric Vehicle (EV) Charges
For the first time, we will also be introducing a cost for the use of electric vehicle charging points for patients at a rate of 45p per kilowatt. We currently provide four electric vehicle charging points for members of the public at St Peter’s Hospital and, plan to increase this number across our hospital sites over the coming years to meet future demand.
The new parking and electric vehicle charging points rates will allow us as a Trust to continue to provide high-quality parking facilities and services for our visitors and staff.
We hope you are able to understand the Trust’s need to introduce new car parking charges at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, but if you do have any further queries, please contact Rachael Westerman, Assistant Director of Facilities.
