Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust has introduced a number of measures which include visiting restrictions (except in some circumstances). This is part of our Infection Prevention and Control strategy to minimise footfall on site and to help reduce transmission of the virus across the hospitals to protect patients and staff.
We realise how difficult it is to be unable to see your loved one whilst they are in hospital, particularly during this worrying time. Our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team are doing all they can to ensure you can keep in touch with your family member if they are an inpatient at Ashford or St Peter’s Hospitals. Aided by a team of volunteers, the PALS team are delivering letters and helping to arrange video calls between patients and relatives to allow them to stay connected to those that matter.
If you’d like to send a letter or arrange a video call with a loved one who is currently an inpatient at Ashford or St Peter’s Hospitals, please contact:
We are also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help in a number of areas so if this is something you would be interested in doing, please contact Joanne Rockett, volunteer coordinator for more information -
