Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals are committed to making sure that all mothers, children and families in their care receive all the support and help they need to ensure that children grow up in a safe and happy home.
To protect children from neglect and abuse, and also to help families struggling to look after their children who may require support the hospitals have a dedicated safeguarding team offering advice, training and specialist knowledge to all members of staff.
The Safeguarding Team at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals work closely with, not only all professionals within the hospital, but also with other outside agencies involved with families such as children's services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Clinical Commissioning Groups, school nurses, GPs, midwives and health visitors.
Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals are committed to improving the lives of children and their families living in Surrey in any way we can. Together we care and together we can make a difference.
