Accommodation
The Trust recognises that access to affordable accommodation is of importance to all members of staff, and has established partnerships with the following Housing Associations to provide accommodation.
- A2 Dominion Group - (close to Ashford Hospital)
- Vivid Homes - Sandgates - (15 minute walk from St Peter’s Hospital)
- Southern Housing, Chertsey - (on the St Peter's site).
We aim to provide accommodation to everyone who needs it but we cannot guarantee a room, or your choice of room preference as not all types of rooms will be available at the time of your request. We prioritise staff recruited directly from overseas, student nurses, medical students and junior doctors.
You will sign up to a minimum 6 month tenancy agreement. If you wish to leave before the 6 month period is complete you may be liable to pay for the remaining months of the agreement. You will be sent a received a detailed tenancy agreement to sign ahead of moving in. Unfortunately we do not have accommodation available to rent for less than a 6 month period.
We can offer staff other accommodation such as through our Rent-a-Room scheme, as well as private flats and houses to rent with our partner estate agents and can support staff who wish to register with the local authority/housing association for keyworker housing.

The A2 Dominion Group provides accommodation close to Ashford Hospital providing single rooms with shared kitchen and dining area.

- Each single room is fully furnished
- All kitchens are equipped with white goods (except washing machines)
- Onsite laundrette
- Free parking available (First come, first served)
- The nearest railway station is Ashford and Hatton Cross underground
To be eligible to rent you must be working in a permanent position, earning a minimum income of £15,000. Must be either a British or EU Citizen, or have the right to rent in the UK. Should you wish to proceed with the rental of any of our properties, any offer you make will be subject to referencing and credit checks at a cost to the tenant(s) of £16.80 per person - A2Dominion do not charge any other fees.

Sandgates, Guildford Road, Chertsey - Vivid Homes
This development of 83 units provides a range of accommodation, from bedsits to 2 bed flats and was completed in March 2003. There are no one bedroom flats, so a couple would need a two bedroom flat. The two bedroom flats provide family accommodation, there is a waiting list for this type of accommodation and therefore families moving to the area are again strongly advised to also look for accommodation through other agencies. The rentals at Sandgates are inclusive of heating, hot water, lighting and wifi but NOT Council Tax except for the bed-sits.
The accommodation is fully furnished, Residents provide their own linen, kettles, crockery, cutlery, pans etc, television, and may make arrangements for telephone access, in accordance with the Tenancy Agreement. There is a laundry room within the building, and charges are made for the use of the machines.
One month’s deposit and one month’s rental is payable in advance and then payment for the accommodation is normally made via direct debit.

Southern Housing (Optivo) - Chertsey - Accommodation on the St Peter’s Hospital Site
Southern Housing (Optivo) provide a range of accommodation on the St Peter’s Hospital site, with over 390 units of accommodation, ranging from rooms in 4 bedroom house shares, to 1 bedroom flats. No deposit is payable but the 1st months’ rent is payable direct to Southern Housing and subsequently by standing order.
This accommodation is fully furnished, and linen is provided. Residents provide their own crockery, cutlery, and pans etc, television and may make arrangements for telephone/IT access, in accordance with the Tenancy Agreement. There is a laundry room provided on site, and charges are made for the use of the machines. Broadband internet service is also provided.
The rentals are inclusive of utilities, council tax and Wifi (unless stated otherwise on the information below)

Accommodation is very limited and is not guaranteed. Prices are correct as of 1st April 2025, rental prices will increase on 1st April 2026.
