Feet

It is important that all footwear, including slippers, should be well fitting, with a low heel, a supportive heel cup and secure fastenings.

State Registered Chiropodists/Podiatrists who are registered with the Health Professions Council are to be found in Yellow Pages. Some will provide home visits. Nursing homes and rest homes usually arrange for chiropodists to visit the home on a regular basis.

Safe Driving

It is possible that your condition may temporarily affect your fitness to drive. Please check this with your doctor.

It is advisable also to check with your Motor Insurance Company as you may find that a set period is designated by them before you are able to drive and, if you disregard these conditions your insurance cover would become invalid.
