Our History | The Nursery at St Peter’s has been operational for over 50 years and has been at its present location within the grounds of St Peter’s since August 1991. |
Our Values | Children learn from the examples set by the people around them. We aim to show the children through our working practices and our relationships with the families within the group, the codes of acceptable behaviour. The needs of the child are paramount and override all other considerations. |
Early Years Foundation Stage | We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS framework sets the standards to ensure that children aged from birth to 5 learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. |
In The Moment Planning | At its core, in the moment planning enables practitioners to spend more time helping children develop and less time doing paperwork. |
Designated Key Person Approach | Each child is assigned a designated key person who is responsible for creating and maintaining a learning and development profile. |
Play Scheme | We offer a play scheme which runs from the St Peter’s site; this covers the 11 weeks of school holidays during the academic year (following the Surrey County Council holiday dates). |
