  • Appointments are up to 45minutes in duration.
     
  • We operate initial appointments face to face or via Video or Phone*.
     
  • If your appointment is face to face:
    • Please ensure you allow time to arrive at your appointment before the appointment start time. If you are late, you may not be seen.
    • Please check in using the self check-in machine in the physiotherapy reception so your physiotherapist knows you have arrived. If your appointment is in one of the community gyms, the reception staff will be able to tell you where to wait.
       
  • If your appointment is virtual (video or telephone) please ensure you are in a quiet and private space
    • If your appointment is via video please see “Your video appointment (Attend Anywhere)” section
    • If your appointment is a telephone call please have your phone on you. Please be aware that your physiotherapist will call you from a blocked number.
       
  • During your first appointment:
    • Your physiotherapist will discuss the history/nature of your problem and the effects this may be having on your day to day life.
    • They may ask you to perform some movements or tests to help build a picture of your problem.
    • At the end of the appointment the Physiotherapist with discuss treatment options with you to help you work towards your patient specific goals.
       
  • If you and your clinician agree there is a clinical need for further appointments, this will be organised.
  • Please make sure prior to the appointment we have the most up-to-date contact details for you e.g. phone number and email address.
  • Appointments can take place between the hours of 07:00 and 17:30, Mondays to Fridays.
  • Please ensure that all our staff are treated with respect during your appointments.
