Please remember that your consignment stock is only accepted on the basis of the Trust Consignment Stock Agreement and only to be handled in accordance with the Trust Consignment Stock policy.

This means you must, please:

  • ALWAYS ASK the Supplies and Procurement department for help FIRST if you wish to count or change any consignment stock or have any other concerns regarding it.
  • ENSURE any temporary movement of consignment stock items is preceded by creation of a contemporaneous written record (and, as applicable, electronic capture of the record within the EDC Gold system), of the Trust authorisation of the movement, which is provided promptly, preferably in advance, to the Supplies and Procurement department (forms for completion concerning this are available from the Supplies and Procurement department (as is guidance on use of the EDC Gold system)
  • NEVER ask anyone other than the Supplies and Procurement department to sign, agree or authorise any variation to the Trust Consignment Stock Agreement or the Trust Consignment Stock policy or to accept your presence in any location where the Trust holds your consignment stock (as they are not authorised to do this).
