This brand new post is a full time position and designed to train either, a qualified radiographer, midwife or nurse in the field of obstetric scanning and to obtain their Pg Certificate in this speciality.
The training will involve a full time mix of hands on training by skilled and experienced sonographers currently working in the scanning unit along with university commitment for completion of the course. The course will be funded by Ashford & St. Peter’s Trust with the contract for the post ideally commencing around two months prior to the academic course start date and definitely continuing for three months after the academic course end date. Thereafter there will be career progression to Band 7. The expectation is for the successful candidate to remain at Ashford and St. Peter’s Maternity Ultrasound for a minimum of 3 years post qualification or fees are to be reimbursed to the hospital on a pro rata basis.

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals Ophthalmology Department is looking for a permanent consultant paediatric ophthalmologist to strengthen the current team.
Ophthalmology clinics take place every day at both Ashford Hospital and St Peter’s Hospital, with additional outreach clinics in Woking and Hounslow. Day case surgery takes place in dedicated ophthalmic theatres at Ashford Hospital with paediatric and other selected surgeries at St Peter’s Hospital. You will be expected to develop and maintain a high standard of practice and take an active role in all activities of the Department, including teaching and audit. The timetable will include both paediatric and ocular motility clinics with a regular theatre list. This is a substantive post based across both St Peter’s and Ashford Hospitals with a commitment to community ophthalmology.
Salary: £82,096 to £110,683 p.a.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative colleague to join an integrated clinical haematology service providing services for both Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals and Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts. The combined team comprises nine consultant haematologists, one specialty doctor, one SpR and a group of Specialist Nurses in Haematology, Anticoagulation, Transfusion and Palliative Care. This post contributes to a 1:8 joint on call rota, a 1:8 attending rota for level 2 patients at RSCH, and a weekly joint haemato-oncology MDT. Both Trust sites have outpatient clinics, haematology day unit and chemotherapy services, inpatient facilities including side rooms and a full range of diagnostics, A&E, acute medicine and acute surgery services.
Salary: £82,096 to £110,683 plus £149 HCAS inc.
